Modern Shadows and Gorean Registry - January 14

The day began with a somewhat jarring notification from the VKC Announcer about pets—apparently, the VKC is closing, and I’ll need to read their notecard carefully to understand how it affects my own companions. It feels like yet another change in a week already full of them.

I spent a good portion of the day in West Burnham, diving back into that modern world with Izzy. He took me on a drive through the city—though the "black ice" made the roads treacherous and we nearly crashed a few times! He showed me the courthouse, the community center, and the local boardwalk. It’s such a strange contrast to the Station; they even have city workers fixing fire hydrants that bikers shoot for sport. I found myself reminiscing about my "biker chick" days before Gor, and I think I might look for my old leathers and tattoos just for a change of pace. Izzy, being the National VP of the Reapers, certainly has that outlaw spirit, and it was nice to just sit and talk at a bistro table without the weight of the Scribe’s robes for a few hours.

Back at Ar's Station, business continues. Caroline gave me the community registration documents for my own record, and I received the official Caste Enrollment & Registry form. I've also been doing quite a bit of "wardrobe maintenance," unpacking several new garments—including a beautiful Stella Gown, some winter furs, and that "Cropped" leather jacket from Swear that fits perfectly with my biker mood. I even managed to fix the alpha state on my mesh body after some technical flickering.

To Do:

• Read the VKC notecard regarding the closing and pet updates.

• Organize the "Caste Enrollment & Registry" form into the Station’s official archives.

• Deliver the "SB Scout Report" given to me by Izzy to the relevant leadership.

• Test the new Eloise Tattoo BODY appliers with my current skin.

• Finalize the texture layout for the library books now that I have the "Lara schedule" from Abraham.

• Practice with the new "Sexy Walk" AO from BAX to ensure it looks right with the patent ankle boots.
