The day was dominated by the Blue Caste meeting at the Isle of Teletus. It was heartening to see so many learned friends—Abraham, Kar, Armand, and others—as we synchronized our plans for the upcoming new year and the Enkara fair in March. I am still adjusting to the news of my own promotion to Governor’s Scribe at Ar's Station; it is a heavy responsibility to advise the Governor directly, quite a step up from my years as a magistrate. My introduction to Gor classes at the Lara campus are also underway, and despite a slow start, the evening sessions are drawing in dedicated students.

However, a dark cloud lingers over the Station. Rask has vanished, replaced only by a highly suspicious scroll claiming an initiate has killed him. Izzy and I examined the parchment at my home; he dismissed it as a forgery, noting that a true warrior would show his face rather than hide behind ink. We searched Rask's room at the Tarn building and found it empty. I have turned the matter over to the Council for Commander Valerius to investigate. Amidst this, I’ve been helping the Silver Blades scout for a permanent barracks in the city, though finding a building large enough for their whole crew—and one that Father would actually move to—is proving a challenge.

To Do:

• Finalize the syllabus for next week's Gorean Civilization class at the campus.

• Follow up with Commander Valerius regarding the search for Rask and the validity of the "death" scroll.

• Speak with Asher regarding building assignments for the Silver Blades' proposed barracks.

• Prepare my presentation topic for "Scribe Day" (March 17th) for the Enkara fair organizers.

• Deliver the message to the Governor regarding the latest Merchant Hall treaties mentioned by Viktoria Audax.
