Journal Entry: 2026/01/09 Location: Ar's Station (Ironheart) / Lara II Mood/Title: Solace in the Quiet and Father's New Plan
The day began with a much-needed moment of calm. I spent the morning at the tea house with Kelly, who was looking quite lovely in her new dress. We shared fruity oolong and discussed the quiet state of the city. I find her company refreshing—she is realistic and kind. I even showed her the garden and kitchen areas, suggesting she might find fulfilling work there, perhaps even adding some Pani touches to the space. It would be wonderful to have her move here permanently; she seems to fit the spirit of Ar's Station perfectly.
On a personal note, the situation with Rask has reached a definitive end for now. I confirmed today that he is truly gone—no suitor, no suitor-to-be, and no guard. It is a strange feeling after the intensity of the past few days, but my father has already come forward with a new plan. He has offered to help me find a "good man," a strong partner who can help me continue my line. I find myself surprisingly open to the idea; Father’s judgment in these matters is something I’ve learned to value, and after the drama surrounding Rask’s disappearance, a more stable, family-sanctioned courtship sounds appealing. Work remains steady, though I had a bit of trouble with some faulty keystrokes while filing my scrolls today—I'll need to double-check those records tomorrow.

Sort through the updated "Initiates" notecards; the file seems to have lost several entries during the system update.
Speak with Father further about his ideas for a new suitor.
Clean and organize the filing desk—too many invalid entries today suggest I need to slow down with the quill.
