Mood/Title: Courtship & New Beginnings
It was a very quiet start to the morning, sitting and having blackwine with Caroline and catching up, but the day turned into something wonderful. Masujiro returned with a completely new look—a tall, handsome warrior shape that I definitely rate a 10. We spoke for hours, and he asked to court me for the next six hands. I told him he must ask my Father, Wind, but I am so happy to say yes. He has even changed his name to Aurik Stormvald to mark this new chapter.
We discussed our future family; he is supportive of my desire to be a mother to Asher, Tyrian, and Magnus, so we will have a full house. We also took in a slave girl named Nava (who Nor calls "Flower"). She is a "barbarian" and seems sweet; Aurik put his temporary collar on her so she can help us with errands. Later at the tavern, Aurik publicly announced our courtship to the room. We ended the night with him carrying me inside. It is so nice to finally feel safe and not be alone.
To Do:
Arrange a meeting between Aurik and Father Wind so Aurik can ask for permission to companion.
Get Asher to trim the bush that is rubbing against the swing.
Find a small table and a few stools for the outdoor sitting area.
Spend time getting to know Nava and see how she fits into the household.
Make sure Aurik gets more sleep!
