Mood/Title: Blackwine, Blue Flames, and Lesson Plans
It was an unexpectedly charming day, beginning quite early before the sun had fully risen. Rask joined me for morning blackwine, and we sat discussing my upcoming class on Monday. He intends to attend, despite claiming illiteracy and a rougher background—his willingness to learn is endearing. We spoke of the differences in our worlds, from the wearing of tunics versus pants to the blunt nature of men, yet he remains respectful. He even returned later in the day with a "honey snow cone" and a humorous tale of tarn chicks chewing on his sandals.
We eventually made our way up to the Initiates' temple to admire the view. It was peaceful to sit there, high above the city near the blue flame, watching the lighthouse and the bustle of the streets below. He removed his weapons for the visit, which I appreciated. I pointed out Tyrian to him from the heights. It feels good to share these quiet moments, exchanging thoughts on the quest for the Home Stone and how we spend our evenings. He ended the day by gifting me two beautiful memories—one of the sunset and one of us together.
To Do:
Finalize the lesson plan for "Introduction to Gorean Civilization" (needs more work before Monday).
Prepare materials for the two sessions (2 PM and 10 PM).
Review the "memories" Rask gifted me.
Check on the girls (Red and Safi).
