Organizing En'Kara and Scribe Duty - February 19

Mood/Title: Organizing En'Kara and Scribe Duty

Today was largely an administrative day centered around the Scribe caste and the upcoming En'Kara fair in Teletus. I participated in a productive meeting with my fellow Scribes—Trygg, Kar, Abraham, Nic, Duncan, and others. We discussed the schedule for the Scribe Tent, which is filling up nicely with lectures and events, including Nic's "Noctis Trivialis." We also addressed the unfortunate hostility from outside groups regarding our participation, agreeing with Kar that we must stand strong against harassment and focus on the fair. I committed to presenting at En'Kara and will determine my topic soon.

Earlier in the day, Drusus caught me near the Academy to drop off a folder of merchant forms for me to process. To save him running around in the future, I showed him my personal mailbox at the Scribe Hall where he can leave documents securely. I also spoke with the slave, Kash, assigning him the regular duty of keeping the Academy clean, emphasizing that a poor job would result in "hands and knees" scrubbing. He was respectful and immediately set to dusting the classroom.

To Do:

• Process the folder of merchant forms dropped off by Drusus.

• Decide on a topic and prepare my presentation for the En'Kara fair.

• Continue updating the Station Academy calendar and preparing the 65-session CIRCLE curriculum.
