Connections and Academy Growth - February 26

Mood/Title: Connections and Academy Growth

Today was primarily focused on maintaining the momentum of the Station Academy and engaging with the community here at Ar's Station. I spent the early hours adjusting the new XANBoard Google Calendar display, ensuring the schedule was correctly populated and synced. It’s deeply satisfying to see the calendar filling up with diverse topics ranging from Gorean Laws and Customs to Gorean Flora and the intricacies of the Ubarate.

Later in the afternoon, I met with Kaellaed Rhode. He’s finalizing his move to the Station and we discussed his potential teaching roles. It seems he’ll be focusing on the nuances of law—specifically city versus merchant law, and trial procedures—which will be a fantastic addition to the curriculum. During our conversation, the subject of Shania's abrupt departure arose. We both expressed disappointment over her leaving due to the unsettling OOC harassment she, and others, have been facing. It’s a frustrating situation, but Kaell remains undeterred about joining us.

I also gave Kaell a brief tour of the available housing near the Academy. I showed him a family-sized dwelling and the single rooms, clarifying the roles my sons play in the city's administration—Asher for housing, Magnus for groups. With Tyrian here as well, I truly feel surrounded by my family, which grounds me amidst the complexities of Station life.

To Do:

• Check in with Magnus and Asher to ensure they expect Kaellaed Rhode's inquiries regarding groups and housing.

• Continue to monitor the Academy calendar for any further syncing issues.

• Finalize my notes for the upcoming 101 class on "Warriors and Warfare."
