Academy Logistics and Scribe Duties - February 22

Mood/Title: Academy Logistics and Scribe Duties

Today involved finalizing the setup for the Station Academy and managing my duties as a Scribe. I spent a considerable amount of time earlier in the day configuring and testing the new interactive calendar board for the Academy. I wanted to ensure the class schedule, including my own upcoming open-topic discussion, was clearly visible and easily accessible to all the free citizens and slaves.

While working in the Academy room, I was visited by a familiar face, a slave named Melyna, who belongs to Master Logan of the Warriors. She asked if slaves were permitted to attend classes to listen, and I confirmed they are, provided they have permission and know how to read the schedule. We chatted briefly before I returned to setting up a new filing system for my Scribe documents using the Blackwood's file cabinets. It was a productive, albeit solitary, day of organizing the structural necessities for both my caste work and the school.

To Do:

• Prepare notes and potential topics for the "Open Topic Discussion" class tomorrow.

• Finish troubleshooting the new notecard filing system in the Scribe's office.

• Verify the new calendar board is displaying all upcoming classes correctly for the week.
